a few weeks ago, I was given the job to designing and photographing material for the menu of a restaurant called 'Harlo's Kitchen. The restaurant itself provides a variety of traditional food with a distinctive flavor and spicy enough.

for the picture, I'm using 2 soft box, direct and bouncing..

Look...far be it from me to ever doubt your talent and ability because the shot is fine too but it's the preparation that I'd look at if it were me.

I'm NOT a meat-eater for one but if I saw the fat on this image as it stands, I'd stay far away from this dish. I would have cut that away far better than it is and would have helped the sell more I think.

Just my thought.

i realize that i had less preparation for this project. and for the soup, yeaa its not too hot when i took the picture, I plan to create smoke effects from the heat, but it failed. yeaa I still need a lot lot more practice, and more tips maybe..
